FOUR LunchboxWax LOCATIONS PLANNED FOR ARIZONA
— Latest area development agreement with Scottsdale-based group reaffirms wax-only salon company’s commitment for careful franchisee and location selection —
June 17, 2014, Boise, ID — LunchboxWax, known since 2010 for its expertly trained waxologists, chic vibe and viral brand that happily encourages all to “Bare Your Beauty,” announced today its first Scottsdale location will open in the fall of this year, which marks the first of four locations in Arizona.
Three longtime Scottsdale residents and community leaders Lisa D’Onofrio, Scott Salk and Sharon Buell, signed a commercial lease for a 1,200 square-foot space in Scottsdale Marketplace and will begin construction in July. Other areas identified for the service-centric speed-wax salons that were recently named in Entrepreneur Magazine’s “Hot List” include North Scottsdale as well as downtown Phoenix and Camelback Corridor.
“We’re so excited to bring LunchboxWax to Arizona and to start it all at the epicenter of Scottsdale – Scottsdale Marketplace -- a place where people from South Scottsdale, North Scottsdale, Paradise Valley and McCormick Ranch are all embracing as their retail destination,” said D’Onofrio. “Our community appreciates businesses that put as much priority on quality service as they do on being socially conscious. Scottsdale residents are by and large hard-working people who engage in things that are new, fun, create a social buzz and are fashion-forward. That’s LunchboxWax. That’s us.”
Lisa, Scott, and Sharon met at one of the premiere private schools in the valley, where their children attend. They have known each other for more than a decade and have worked together for the past six years. The LunchboxWax franchise has proven to be a great fit, perfectly matching qualities that each of them possess.
Because of their collective ties to progressive Arizona education, the Arizona franchisees are committed to continuing their efforts to support children and will focus many of their fundraising efforts around giving back to the educational community.
“When you see people like Lisa, Scott and Sharon’s passion for keeping their community vibrant and successful – and then see their track record of success, you get as excited and enthusiastic about their futures as they are,” LunchboxWax CEO + Founder Debi Lane said. “This dynamic team represents and embraces our culture, which is one that proves that fun and sophistication can co-exist.”
In addition to Arizona, LunchboxWax also has salons open or commitments for franchises in Idaho, Florida, Georgia, Nevada Oregon and Utah with intent to award franchise agreements in other progressive areas in California, Colorado, Texas and Washington.
Named in Entrepreneur Magazine’s June 2014 top 10 categories in franchising, LunchboxWax launched its national franchise program in late 2013 to answer growing consumer demand for expertly trained estheticians trained for the sole purpose of speed waxing in an environment that is dedicated to each guest’s comfort.
From December 1, 2012, to November 30, 2013, annual gross revenue for the corporate store in Boise, Idaho, was $488,314.01. The company’s flagship salon operates as a Two-Suite Boutique Box. Most franchises sold will feature a Four-Suite Complete Box configuration.
