LunchboxWax AWARDS FRANCHISE IN PORTLAND’S PEARL DISTRICT
— Longtime Portland-area resident signs franchise and area development agreements for chic wax-only salons, sets sights on empowering communities —
October 8, 2013, Boise, ID — LunchboxWax, an affordable, turnkey, full-support franchise system in the thriving $7 billion beauty industry, announced today it has awarded its first franchise in Portland, Oregon, as part of an expansion plan to add more than 20 locations across several franchisees in other affluent, progressive communities in the next 15 months.
Bridge D’Urso signed franchise and area development agreements and is currently identifying a location in Portland’s progressive Pearl District, with plans to open the first of two speed-waxing salons in spring 2014. Like all current LunchboxWax salons, the Portland area location will cater to people who want to feel beautiful and are mindful about the people and places they choose for these services.
D'Urso, who will oversee daily operations and plans to employ 6-8 certified speed waxologists for her first four-suite salon, said the established brand, turnkey system and continuous support compelled their decision to join the LunchboxWaxfranchise system as its first Oregon franchisee.
