— Longtime Reno residents sign area agreement for Reno, Summerlin and Henderson wax-only salons—

April 16, 2014, Boise, ID — LunchboxWax, a chic speed-waxing franchise that has experienced consistent growth since it began awarding franchises in August 2013, announced today that two prominent Reno residents have signed an area development agreement for high-end communities in Nevada, including Reno as well as Las Vegas Valley’s Summerlin and Green Valley in Henderson. The agreement includes plans to open three salons in 2014 and 2015 starting first with a four-suite salon in Reno.

Nevada native Jaime Gardner will oversee the overall development and general management of the Nevada salons with the assistance of her business partner and husband Ryan Ley.

“LunchboxWax and Reno are a perfect match. Here, we have a hip community that appreciates culture and class without being pretentious,” said Gardner, who, like her husband, has practiced psychiatry in Reno for nearly a decade. ”Reno residents are diverse but by and large value an exceptional, service-oriented experience. The cool, modern-city appeal found at every LunchboxWax will be an instant draw, and we are beyond excited to be the ones who introduce the concept to our state.”

With the Nevada agreement, LunchboxWax also has salons open or commitments for 20 franchises. Other states include Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Oregon and Utah.

“LunchboxWax Franchise is different. We’re creating a unique corporate culture that will transcend into the overall guest experience,” said LunchboxWax CEO + Founder Debi Lane. “We are incredibly careful about the communities we choose to open salons in and are equally as mindful about the caliber of people we bring on board to run them. Jaime Gardner and Ryan Ley are exemplary people and professionals who will help grow the LunchboxWax brand as well as empower their community through this new business venture.”

Gardner and Ley are working hand in hand with the LunchboxWax Franchise team to select commercial property in Reno and open approximately 120 days after a lease agreement is signed.

Named in Entrepreneur Magazine’s December 2013 top 10 categories in franchising, LunchboxWaxlaunched its national franchise program in late 2013 to answer growing consumer demand for expertly trained estheticians trained for the sole purpose of speed waxing in an environment that is dedicated to each guest’s comfort.

From December 1, 2012, to November 30, 2013, annual gross revenue for the corporate store in Boise, Idaho, was $488,314.01. The company’s flagship salon operates as a Two-Suite Boutique Box. Most franchises sold will feature a Four-Suite Complete Box configuration.
