Our new Coeur d’Alene, Idaho location opened in July and has continued to exceed the expected milestones. While salon revenue and performance can vary, seeing the model thrive under extreme circumstances was a testament to the LunchboxWax salon layout. We also accomplished a double-digit sales increase across territories after salons re-opened, showing the business model’s resilience.
Since March, LunchboxWax has signed 31 agreements, adding 8 new franchisees to the system that have taken hold of their future by joining the nation’s leading wax-only salon. We are excited to have a robust pipeline with locations in development in cities such as Detroit, Las Vegas, Milwaukee, Sacramento, San Antonio and South Florida. LunchboxWax’s proven business model has made the process simple for our franchisees and has yielded positive results for the entrepreneurs that have joined our brand.
Additional milestones for LunchboxWax include the launch of its first ever eyebrow line, dubbed DEFINE, which went live in July and added to our retail offerings along with a new point of sale for franchisees.
The brand’s website also went through a makeover and redesign, making the platform more user-friendly. Another highlight for LunchboxWax was that it accomplished a double-digit sales increase across its territories after salons re-opened, showing the business model’s durability.
This year, we have adopted a new mantra, “2122”, which refers to our goal of signing 21 multi-unit agreements and accomplishing 22 salon openings. Areas on our radar for expansion include Chicago, Atlanta, New Jersey and the New York metro area, along with state-wide growth in Texas, Florida and Connecticut.
